IoT LoRa Boards - Your Gateway to the Internet of Things

We're making LoRa cheaper, more accessible and hackable using your favourite single board computers - Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Micro:Bit and more!

We want to bring LoRa technology to the masses and allow anyone to get started with the LoRa network in an easy and cost effective way by using the Raspberry Pi, micro:bit, Arduino, and other low cost single board computers.

Our IoT LoRa range allows you to do this by reducing the price of the hardware considerably and lowering the setup time to minutes rather than hours. Read all about it on our Kickstarter page :-)

New Pi PoE code & quick start guide
about 2 years ago – Thu, May 04, 2017 at 01:40:33 PM

Hey backers,

This is a short update to tell you about some minor developments with the Pi PoE Switch HAT.

We've added new code to the Pi PoE to improve the shutdown process and serve as a base for customisable scripts.

There is also a new Pi PoE quick start guide: https://www.pi-supply.com/make/pi-poe-switch-hat-quickstart-faq/

  • Board assembly
  • Case assembly
  • Other FAQs (such as adding other boards on top, pinout, troubleshooting, and more)

New Pi Poe Switch HAT Case is now available + PaPiRus and JustBoom
over 2 years ago – Fri, Nov 11, 2016 at 12:30:14 PM

Hey backers,

We're posting an update to let you all know about our new case for the Pi PoE switch. We've had many requests for a case, and earlier last month we finally received stock! :-)

It's perfect for removing the clutter of wires and protecting your Raspberry Pi and Pi PoE HAT from any potential damage. The four holes and rail along each side of the case provide you with the option to mount this case on any surface with screws. At the moment the case is only available in black. You can also view the case in 3D.

  • All ports on the Pi PoE HAT and Raspberry Pi are accessible
  • 4 x rubber feet are included
  • Can be wall mounted

The Pi PoE Switch HAT is available here

Access to all ports, and can be mounted onto a wall.

Other Products

You may have also seen last month that we launched a new Range of audio boards for the Raspberry Pi. Justboom is a range of affordable, high-quality 384kHz/32 bit audio add-ons for the Raspberry Pi, Pi Zero and standalone use.

The reason we created this product range is due to how the high-quality audio market is full of smoke and mirrors. For example, some businesses will charge into the many £000's for a DAC or for a high-quality audio player in general, even though a Pi 3 in a case with a HAT on top can essentially do the same job for a substantially lower price point.

To put this into context, here are some use cases for a high-quality audio HAT and Raspberry Pi:

- Streaming (either from cloud or network storage) high-definition audio player
- Multi-room audio player
- Media centre / set-top box living room entertainment system
- Shop floor / elevator / background music audio player
- High-quality audio player with local storage
- Desktop high definition audio player with amplified headphone output

In total, we have 8 boards:
- Amp HAT
- Digi HAT
- Amp Zero
- Digi Zero
- DAC Zero
- Standalone DAC
- Standalone Amp
- Plus custom cases - https://www.justboom.co/product-category/cases/

JustBoom Cases & Remotes

We also have custom cases for each JustBoom board and custom remotes are on the way!

Cases and remotes are available here

If you backed our PaPiRus Campaign or follow us on Twitter you may have spotted back in June that we launched PaPiRus Zero - an ePaper board for the Pi Zero. This week, we've received a large shipment of these boards so we have a nice, consistent supply of stock.

Over the past year we've had many requests for cases that can cater for the Raspberry Pi and PaPiRus HAT. We spent a few months working with a case design company called CamdenBoss on concepts for the PaPiRus HAT and PaPiRus Zero.

If you scroll down you'll be able to see what we've come up with :-)

PaPiRus HAT Case

The PaPiRus HAT Case is designed specifically to fit the PaPiRus HAT. It can accommodate all screen sizes: 1.44″, 2.0″ and 2.7″.

We've made sure to still allow access to the 4 buttons by including 4 button actuators you can use to control your PaPiRus without needing to open the case. You can also still access all ports on both the PaPiRus and Raspberry Pi

The case is available here.

PaPiRus Zero

As mentioned in the introduction, we've also developed PaPiRus Zero: an ePaper screen pHAT module designed for the Raspberry Pi Zero. With this board you can use a 1.44" or 2.0" ePaper screen.

The PaPiRus Zero is available here

PaPiRus Zero Case and watch strap

This is our new PaPiRus zero case. All ports on the PaPiRus HAT and Pi Zero are accessible and the clear transparent top allows you to keep an eye on your ePaper project. Available with/without a watch strap in black or white

This case is available here

Shipping finished (almost)!
over 3 years ago – Tue, Jan 26, 2016 at 01:22:17 PM

Hi all,

We shipped all day yesterday and shipped about 75% of all the pledges in yesterday evenings post with Royal Mail. We came in early today and have now finished the rest of the shipping today of all of the backer rewards apart from anyone who chose the "to go kit" - the reason for this is that we are still waiting for the cases to go with these...there are only a few of you who backed at this level though. We will post here again once we receive those cases in and have shipped out these pledges.

If you are in the UK you should receive your pledge by Friday, within 2 weeks from today in the EU, and within around 2 to 4 weeks for the rest of the world.

We would love to see pictures of your items turning up and the projects you are going to use them in so please post us your pictures on twitter (https://twitter.com/PiSupply) or facebook (https://facebook.com/PiSupply) if you get the chance :-)

Thanks once again for your patience, and we hope you love the Pi PoE Switch!

All the best,
Aaron and the Pi Supply team

Shipping starts tomorrow!
over 3 years ago – Sun, Jan 24, 2016 at 08:01:44 PM

Hi all,

Another quick update to let you know that we are expecting to receive the first 1000 units tomorrow before 10am.

As previously mentioned we have got all the shipping and customs labels already printed and ready to go so as soon as the shipment turns up we will commence shipping immediately.

We have over 500 parcels to ship out but we will all be working to get these out extremely quickly and anticipate that we should be able to get all KS backer rewards shipped by the end of Wednesday and at the very latest by Friday.

When your pledge has shipped you will get a notification from BackerKit saying it has shipped so keep an eye out for that.

All the best,
Aaron and the Pi Supply team
